Protein Bars can be a bit expensive and are cleverly disguised as a good source of protein only to find they are nothing more than a candy bar wrapped in a protein bar wrapper<\/p>\n

If you are in the fitness industry and train, I can assume that you have a tub of protein powder laying around your kitchen.<\/p>\n

Protein Powder with just a few more ingredients that could be laying around your house, you’ll be able to make your own protein bars in a matter of minutes.<\/p>\n

The good news is, no BAKING required!<\/p>\n

Homemade High Protein\/Carbohydrate Post Workout Protein Bar<\/span><\/p>\n

Ingredients:<\/p>\n

8 scoops chocolate protein powder – Protein Powder<\/a>
\n1 cup oatmeal (uncooked)
\n1\/3 tbsp honey
\n1\/2 cup 1% milk
\n3 tbsp slivered almonds<\/p>\n

Directions:<\/p>\n

1. Mix together the protein powder, oatmeal, honey and milk.<\/p>\n

2. Form into 5 bars and then roll in the slivered almonds to finish.<\/p>\n

3. Place in the fridge for about an hour<\/p>\n
