How to Gain Weight and Build Muscle Motivation
I get asked all the time on my Facebook fan page, “How do I gain weight and build muscle.” Most people I find want to know what supplement to take to achieve this. I always recommend people just eat more rather than wasting their money on some supplement that leaves you feeling bloated and even worse an empty wallet.
Don’t get me wrong supplements have their place but they are not the cure for gaining weight.
Your diet first should be at least 90% dialed in before taking a supplement such as weight gainers. This is what I tell people to do. You must take your Body weight and multiply by 17. This is how many calories you need to consume on a daily basis. You need to prepare these meals in advance so that you keep up with your diet.
I also talk about people giving every excuse in the book for not going to the gym. I’m pretty passionate about this because I hear it all. People don’t have time, they have a hard day at work, can’t afford a gym membership, and so on. All I have to say about this is if you truly want to gain weight and build muscle then you are going to have to sacrifice some things. Maybe you watch a little to much tv or to much time spent on the Internet. Turn these things off, there’s not that much good things on tv anyways. Can’t afford a gym membership? Get some dumbbells or some elastic bands so you can workout in the comfort of your own home. Sometimes you just got to get creative.
So there you have it! You have no excuse. You got to want it as bad as you need to breathe. So go out there and crush it!
